All items sold at Saddler’s Den are made in our own workshop. Each item is individually made to requirements using only top quality materials. All are handmade and hand stitched. We carry out all types of repairs from replacing buckles to saddle fitting and re-flocking. This is carried out by a qualified Master Saddler with the Society of Master Saddlers.

We are also registered and approved by Flair to convert saddles to the Flair air bag system.

We make all of the normal saddlery items that you would expect to see in a saddlery shop. Bridles and saddles are made to measure and the customer specifies weight, colour, style etc. This gives us greater flexibility to supply exactly what is required. Of course there is always expert help and advice on hand if required.

Items which have gone out of fashion and are more difficult to obtain such as the saddle bag pictured opposite can be supplied without problem.

We are also makers of gig or trade harness and collars. From the complete set to individual components. Repair service also available.

Collars are made in the traditional manner with straw filled body and forewhale. Supplied with or without hames.
