If you wish to order or enquire about any item seen on this web site, please e-mail using the address below. We will confirm your order giving an estimate price and delivery date. Upon completion you will be e-mailed and payment will be requested. Unfortunately we cannot take credit cards over the Internet or telephone, only cheque's drawn on a UK bank or international money orders (for overseas customers) made payable to ‘Saddler’s Den’.

Saddler’s Den was established by Chris Taylor in March 1996, although Chris has worked in the trade for many years prior to this.

Chris is a Master Saddler and a member of ‘The Society of Master Saddler’s and his aim is to maintain the traditional methods of working to produce top quality saddlery and leather goods. All are made on site and Saddler’s Den does not sell any imported leather goods.

From the largest job to the smallest repair you can be assured of quality individual attention. An item bearing the ‘Saddler’s Den’ logo, with proper care and use, will give years of service and enjoyment.

Chris is also the saddler to two of the northwest largest Police Mounted Divisions.

Although the core business is saddlery and harness, we undertake many other types of commission's. One of our specialties is reproducing leather work for roman re-enactor’s.
